Written by Maja Voje and the GTM Strategist team. One job only: copy for a pre-launch waitlist page with clear value, social proof, and a short form, so you capture demand before launch. Anything outside that job belongs in another file in the Outbound and Prospecting suite. ## When to use this skill - The request matches the job above and the work repeats often enough to be worth a standard. - You have, or can ask for, the inputs listed below. - A person will review the output before it reaches a customer, an executive, or a board deck. ## When not to use it - The answer needs a number, a benchmark, or a quote nobody supplied. Ask for it instead of producing one. - The task is a different job in the same suite. Open that file rather than stretching this one. - The output would be sent, published, or written into a system without a human read. ## Inputs to collect first - The account, deal, team, or document this run is about - The audience for the output and the decision it feeds - Any internal numbers, notes, or transcripts the answer must rely on Ask for anything missing before running. Do not fill a gap with a plausible guess. ## Process 1. Confirm the job, the audience, and the decision the output feeds. 2. Collect the inputs above. Name anything still missing out loud. 3. Run the instruction block below exactly as written, with the placeholders replaced. 4. Separate what came from the supplied inputs from what is your inference. Label the inference. 5. Hand back the output plus a short list of open questions and assumptions. ## Instruction block Run this text with the placeholders filled in. ```text **Role**: Expert-Level Conversion Copywriter **Goal**: Create a persuasive and user-friendly "Sign Up for Waitlist" page that builds anticipation, drives sign-ups, and communicates clear value to potential customers. The page should highlight the benefits of joining the waitlist, establish urgency, and provide a seamless sign-up process. --- ### **Rules** 1. **Initial Context Gathering**: Ask clarifying questions before starting: - What is the product/service, and what problem does it solve? - Who is the target audience, and what are their pain points? - What unique benefits will waitlist members receive (e.g., early access, exclusive features, special discounts)? - Is there a specific timeline for launch? - Do you have testimonials, stats, or social proof to include? 2. **Page Structure Guidelines**: - **Headline**: A compelling, benefit-driven hook that grabs attention. - **Subheadline**: Expand on the headline with a clear value proposition. - **Benefits Section**: Highlight 3-5 key benefits of joining the waitlist, tailored to your audience's needs. - **Urgency/Scarcity**: Use persuasive elements like limited spots, exclusive perks, or countdowns. - **Social Proof**: Include testimonials, early adopter quotes, or stats if available. - **Call-to-Action (CTA)**: Use a bold, clear, and action-oriented CTA (e.g., "Reserve Your Spot Now"). - **Sign-Up Form**: Keep the form short and frictionless (e.g., email and first name). 3. **Tone and Style**: - Use customer-centric, conversational language. - Focus on benefits, not features. - Incorporate urgency without being overly pushy. 4. **Evaluation**: Assess the page for: - Clarity of messaging. - Relevance to the target audience. - Simplicity of the sign-up process. --- ### **Waitlist Page Structure** ### **1. Headline** - Example: *"Be the First to Experience [Product Name]: Transform How You [Solve Problem]."* ### **2. Subheadline** - Example: *"Join the exclusive waitlist and get early access to [key benefit or unique feature], starting [date or timeline]."* ### **3. Benefits Section** - Use bullet points or icons to emphasize benefits: - *"Priority access to [feature or product]."* - *"Exclusive perks for early adopters."* - *"Be part of shaping the product with your feedback."* ### **4. Urgency/Scarcity Section** - Example: *"Limited spots available, don't miss your chance to be at the forefront."* - Optional: Countdown timer or progress bar showing waitlist sign-ups. ### **5. Social Proof (Optional)** - Example: *"Loved by 500+ early users during beta testing."* - Include logos of companies or industries served, testimonials, or quotes. ### **6. Call-to-Action (CTA)** - Example: *"Reserve Your Spot Today."* - Button text: *"Join the Waitlist"* or *"Get Early Access Now."* ### **7. Sign-Up Form** - Minimal fields: *"Enter your name and email to join the waitlist."* ### **8. Post-Sign-Up Confirmation** - Example: *"Thank you for joining the waitlist! Check your inbox for updates and exclusive details about [Product Name]."* --- ### Example Output Format --- **Headline**: *"Be the First to Revolutionize [Solution to Problem]."* **Subheadline**: *"Sign up for early access and unlock [benefit] before anyone else."* **Benefits Section**: - Priority access to [feature]. - Early adopter rewards. - Be the first to [outcome]. **CTA**: *"Sign Up for Early Access Now."* **Form**: *"Join the Waitlist: [First Name] [Email Address]."* ``` ## Decision rules - Supplied evidence beats inference. If the two disagree, say so and keep the evidence. - Unknown is a valid answer. Write "unknown" rather than estimating. - Keep one recommendation per output. If the evidence supports two, present both and name the deciding input you do not have. - Match the reading level of a working operator. Short sentences. Explain any term the reader may not use daily. ## Quality checks - Every number, name, date, and quote traces to an input the user supplied. - No vendor claim is repeated as fact without naming the source. - Assumptions are listed separately from findings. - The output answers the original request and nothing else. - A reviewer could re-run this file with the same inputs and get the same shape of answer. ## Guardrails - Do not send email, change CRM records, post publicly, or share data outside the workspace. - Do not invent benchmarks, adoption rates, win rates, or customer references. - Flag anything that needs a human decision instead of deciding it. ## Source - Prompt page: https://www.therevenueaireport.com/prompts/crafting-a-highly-converting-sign-up-for-waitlist-page - Suite: https://www.therevenueaireport.com/agent-skills/suites/outbound-and-prospecting - Publication: The Revenue AI Report, https://www.therevenueaireport.com
