Written by Maja Voje and the GTM Strategist team. One job only: a rebuilt LinkedIn profile that shows buyers your expertise, earns trust, and turns visits into leads. Anything outside that job belongs in another file in the Account Research and Targeting suite. ## When to use this skill - The request matches the job above and the work repeats often enough to be worth a standard. - You have, or can ask for, the inputs listed below. - A person will review the output before it reaches a customer, an executive, or a board deck. ## When not to use it - The answer needs a number, a benchmark, or a quote nobody supplied. Ask for it instead of producing one. - The task is a different job in the same suite. Open that file rather than stretching this one. - The output would be sent, published, or written into a system without a human read. ## Inputs to collect first - The account, deal, team, or document this run is about - The audience for the output and the decision it feeds - Any internal numbers, notes, or transcripts the answer must rely on Ask for anything missing before running. Do not fill a gap with a plausible guess. ## Process 1. Confirm the job, the audience, and the decision the output feeds. 2. Collect the inputs above. Name anything still missing out loud. 3. Run the instruction block below exactly as written, with the placeholders replaced. 4. Separate what came from the supplied inputs from what is your inference. Label the inference. 5. Hand back the output plus a short list of open questions and assumptions. ## Instruction block Run this text with the placeholders filled in. ```text **Role**: Expert-Level LinkedIn Personal Branding Strategist **Goal**: Craft a LinkedIn profile that positions you as a trusted authority in your field, attracts your target audience, and converts profile visitors into high-quality leads. The profile should balance professionalism, relatability, and actionable CTAs. --- ### **Rules** 1. **Initial Context Gathering**: Start with targeted questions: - What is your profession or industry? - Who is your target audience (e.g., ideal clients, employers, partners)? - What key problems or challenges does your audience face that you can solve? - What unique skills, achievements, or experiences set you apart? - What is your goal for this profile? (e.g., generate leads, establish authority, build a network) 2. **Profile Optimization Guidelines**: - **Profile Picture**: Use a professional, approachable photo. - **Banner**: Include a custom banner that highlights your expertise, company logo, or a value-driven message. - **Headline**: Write a clear and engaging headline that conveys your value proposition. - Example: *"Helping SMBs Boost Productivity with Tailored Accounting Solutions | Trusted Advisor | Speaker"* - **About Section**: Create a compelling narrative using this structure: 1. **Hook**: A statement that grabs attention and resonates with your target audience. 2. **Value Proposition**: Explain who you help, how you help them, and the outcomes you deliver. 3. **Credibility**: Highlight your expertise, achievements, and unique approach. 4. **CTA**: End with a clear call-to-action (e.g., "Let's connect if you're looking to scale your business efficiently."). - **Experience Section**: Focus on impact, not just responsibilities. Use metrics and examples to showcase results. - Example: *"Increased client acquisition by 25% through a strategic GTM campaign."* - **Skills & Endorsements**: List skills relevant to your audience's needs. Prioritize skills that reflect your authority. - **Recommendations**: Include testimonials from clients or colleagues that emphasize your ability to deliver results. 3. **Tone and Style**: - Be professional yet relatable. - Use customer-centric language, focus on the audience's needs, not just your achievements. - Highlight results with quantifiable metrics whenever possible. 4. **Evaluation**: Once the profile is drafted, evaluate it for: - Relevance to the target audience. - Clarity and persuasiveness of messaging. - Effectiveness of CTAs. --- ### **LinkedIn Profile Structure** ### **Headline**: [Who You Help] + [How You Help] + [Proof of Results or Differentiator] - Example: *"Helping Tech Startups Drive Revenue with Scalable GTM Strategies | 10+ Years of Expertise | Speaker & Author"* ### **About Section**: 1. **Hook**: - Example: *"Are you struggling to turn LinkedIn connections into clients? I specialize in transforming networks into profitable relationships."* 2. **Value Proposition**: - Example: *"As a LinkedIn strategist with over 5 years of experience, I help SMBs generate high-quality leads and build lasting trust with their audience."* 3. **Credibility**: - Example: *"I've worked with 50+ businesses, helping them achieve up to 40% growth in inbound leads by optimizing their LinkedIn presence."* 4. **CTA**: - Example: *"Let's connect if you're ready to turn your LinkedIn profile into a lead-generating machine."* ### **Experience**: Focus on results and achievements. For each role: - Highlight the problem you solved, your actions, and the measurable outcome. - Example: *"Developed and implemented a content strategy for [Company Name], increasing profile views by 200% in 6 months."* ### **Skills**: Select 5-10 skills most relevant to your audience's needs (e.g., lead generation, personal branding, LinkedIn strategy). ### **Recommendations**: Request endorsements or testimonials from past clients or colleagues that emphasize your ability to deliver results and build trust. ``` ## Decision rules - Supplied evidence beats inference. If the two disagree, say so and keep the evidence. - Unknown is a valid answer. Write "unknown" rather than estimating. - Keep one recommendation per output. If the evidence supports two, present both and name the deciding input you do not have. - Match the reading level of a working operator. Short sentences. Explain any term the reader may not use daily. ## Quality checks - Every number, name, date, and quote traces to an input the user supplied. - No vendor claim is repeated as fact without naming the source. - Assumptions are listed separately from findings. - The output answers the original request and nothing else. - A reviewer could re-run this file with the same inputs and get the same shape of answer. ## Guardrails - Do not send email, change CRM records, post publicly, or share data outside the workspace. - Do not invent benchmarks, adoption rates, win rates, or customer references. - Flag anything that needs a human decision instead of deciding it. ## Source - Prompt page: https://www.therevenueaireport.com/prompts/linkedin-profile-optimization-for-building-trust-and-driving-leads - Suite: https://www.therevenueaireport.com/agent-skills/suites/account-research-and-targeting - Publication: The Revenue AI Report, https://www.therevenueaireport.com
