Onboarding ramp assistant built on your own content (L2)
New hires ask questions in Slack and get answers drawn only from your approved enablement library. AI drafts the answer, enablement approves the source set. Notion AI, Guru, or Glean over the content you already have.
The steps
- 01
Clean the library before you index it
Tool: Notion
Archive anything more than two versions out of date. A retrieval assistant confidently repeats stale pricing and dead positioning. Owner: enablement. Pitfall: indexing the whole drive. Old decks outnumber current ones in most companies. DoD: the indexed set is a named collection with an owner and a review date.
- 02
Answer with a citation every time
Tool: Guru
Every response links the source card. New hires learn where truth lives, not just what the answer was. Owner: enablement. DoD: responses without a source link are treated as bugs.
- 03
Route unanswered questions into the content backlog
Tool: Slack
Anything the assistant cannot answer is a content gap. Log it automatically. This is the highest-value output of the whole workflow. Owner: enablement. DoD: a weekly gap list feeds the content calendar.
- 04
Review accuracy at week two of each cohort
Tool: Manual
Ask the new cohort which answers were wrong or confusing, then fix the source, not the prompt. Owner: enablement. DoD: a written fix list per cohort.
