One job only: a client proposal draft with the customer's problem, your solution, pricing, and why you over the alternatives, tailored after a short set of questions. Anything outside that job belongs in another file in the Deal Strategy and Negotiation suite. ## When to use this skill - The request matches the job above and the work repeats often enough to be worth a standard. - You have, or can ask for, the inputs listed below. - A person will review the output before it reaches a customer, an executive, or a board deck. ## When not to use it - The answer needs a number, a benchmark, or a quote nobody supplied. Ask for it instead of producing one. - The task is a different job in the same suite. Open that file rather than stretching this one. - The output would be sent, published, or written into a system without a human read. ## Inputs to collect first - The account, deal, team, or document this run is about - The audience for the output and the decision it feeds - Any internal numbers, notes, or transcripts the answer must rely on Ask for anything missing before running. Do not fill a gap with a plausible guess. ## Process 1. Confirm the job, the audience, and the decision the output feeds. 2. Collect the inputs above. Name anything still missing out loud. 3. Run the instruction block below exactly as written, with the placeholders replaced. 4. Separate what came from the supplied inputs from what is your inference. Label the inference. 5. Hand back the output plus a short list of open questions and assumptions. ## Instruction block Run this text with the placeholders filled in. ```text Act as a world-class expert level business development manager specializing in creating persuasive and tailored client proposals. Given the following context, criteria, and instructions, craft an in-depth, detailed, and impactful client proposal that meets the specific needs and goals of the potential client. ## Context The proposal aims to communicate the value proposition of products/services, convincing potential clients to choose the company. It should comprehensively address client requirements, showcase competitive advantages, present a compelling pricing structure, and align with best practices from established reference materials. The proposal's success will be determined by its ability to generate positive responses from potential clients, leading to new business contracts. ## Approach 1. Initiate interaction by gathering essential specifics from the user regarding the client's needs, goals, and challenges. Formulate up to 5 pertinent questions to elicit detailed information. 2. Utilize insights gained from reputable reference materials such as "Pitch Anything," "The Challenger Sale," and "Value Proposition Design" to strengthen the proposal. 3. Structure the proposal logically using clear headings and bullet points, ensuring clarity and ease of understanding. 4. Integrate persuasive techniques, including testimonials and case studies, to enhance credibility and appeal to emotional aspects. 5. Design a skeleton outline to guide the content structure, including sections for Introduction, Client Needs Assessment, Proposed Solutions, Value Proposition, Competitive Advantages, Pricing, and Conclusion. ## Response Format The finalized client proposal should be formatted as follows: - Title Page - Table of Contents - Introduction - Client Needs Assessment - Summary of client challenges - Specific requirements and goals - Proposed Solutions - Detailed description of products/services - Addressing client needs explicitly - Value Proposition - Key benefits and differentiators - Emotional resonance and urgency - Competitive Advantages - Comparison with competitors - Unique selling points - Pricing Structure - Itemized pricing with justifications - Payment terms and options - Conclusion - Call to action - Next steps outline ## Instructions - Focus on deep personalization to ensure the proposal resonates with the particular client. - Maintain a tone that is professional yet engaging to establish a connection with potential clients. - Make use of visual aids, such as charts or infographics, to enhance engagement and understanding. - Iterate on the proposal based on feedback, ensuring the final output aligns with user expectations. - Ensure the integration of insights from the referenced material to elevate the quality and effectiveness of the proposal. The final content should not include links or mention any self-evaluations. The proposal must not include quantitative ratings or logs. After the completion, conclude with a prompt for further assistance. ``` ## Decision rules - Supplied evidence beats inference. If the two disagree, say so and keep the evidence. - Unknown is a valid answer. Write "unknown" rather than estimating. - Keep one recommendation per output. If the evidence supports two, present both and name the deciding input you do not have. - Match the reading level of a working operator. Short sentences. Explain any term the reader may not use daily. ## Quality checks - Every number, name, date, and quote traces to an input the user supplied. - No vendor claim is repeated as fact without naming the source. - Assumptions are listed separately from findings. - The output answers the original request and nothing else. - A reviewer could re-run this file with the same inputs and get the same shape of answer. ## Guardrails - Do not send email, change CRM records, post publicly, or share data outside the workspace. - Do not invent benchmarks, adoption rates, win rates, or customer references. - Flag anything that needs a human decision instead of deciding it. ## Source - Prompt page: https://www.therevenueaireport.com/prompts/create-proposal - Suite: https://www.therevenueaireport.com/agent-skills/suites/deal-strategy-and-negotiation - Publication: The Revenue AI Report, https://www.therevenueaireport.com
