The short answer

HG Insights now sells its GTM data, Copilots, Agents, and MCP server on Intelligence Credits, with Copilot modules from $22,000. Which lines must go on the Order Form before we sign?

HG Insights launched the Contextual Intelligence Platform on Oct 6 2026 (Fabric, HG Copilots, HG Agents, HG MCP Server), priced on a consumption model built around Intelligence Credits, with Copilot modules from $22,000. Its pricing guide runs two meters: Intelligence Credits to export data (0.1 credit for a firmographic and hierarchy record, 3 credits for a buyer intent data point) and AI action credits for compute such as research briefs and CRM row enrichment. Credits are allocated yearly, released monthly, and only 20% of a month's unused credits roll over. Standard term is two years; one year and quarterly billing cost more. Seats come in bundles of 5, 10, 25, or 50. There is no free trial. Write credits included in the $22,000 and the price per credit, the full rate card with change notice, which meter each surface burns (Copilot, Agents, MCP, Fabric API), rollover terms, term and billing prices side by side, seat bundle and true-down rights, AWS Marketplace commit treatment, and a paid-pilot exit into the Order Form.

Decision rule

No signature until the $22,000 converts to a credit count, every surface maps to a named meter, and the 20% rollover is either accepted on purpose or improved on paper.

Evidence

  • HG Insights release via PR Newswire (Oct 6 2026, 13:00 ET): Contextual Intelligence Platform (Fabric, HG Copilots, HG Agents, HG MCP Server) available Oct 6 2026; consumption model built around Intelligence Credits; HG Copilot modules start at $22,000; Fabric licensable on its own by API or Direct Feed; Fabric, Copilots, and MCP Server on AWS Marketplace, where eligible customers can apply existing cloud commitments; agents reachable from Slack, Microsoft Teams, the HG interface, or MCP.
  • HG Copilots Pricing Guide (retrieved Oct 6 2026): Starter, Growth, Enterprise plans built on seats licensed, credits consumed, and leads processed; firmographics and hierarchy 0.1 credit per entity, buyer intent 3 credits per data point; credits cheaper as the plan scales; allocated annually, distributed monthly, max 20% of monthly unused credits roll over; Intelligence Credits export data, AI action credits run actions; seat bundles of 5, 10, 25, 50 (50 Growth only), single seats at a premium; two-year standard term, one year at a higher price, quarterly billing at a premium; no pilot or free trial.
  • PPC Land (Oct 6 2026): the release does not state whether $22,000 is annual or per user, how many credits it includes, or how queries, agent runs, or API calls consume credits; HG Agents and Customer Voice are not listed among the AWS Marketplace offerings.

Operator action

This week: ask the HG AE for the credit count in the $22,000 module, the full credits-per-data-point table, and a written map of which meter Copilot exports, AI actions, HG Agents, MCP queries, and Fabric API calls burn. Price two-year, one-year, and quarterly billing side by side before you pick a term.

A new GTM data platform. One published price. Two meters behind it.

HG Insights put its Contextual Intelligence Platform on sale on Oct 6 2026 (PR Newswire; HG Insights). It bundles Fabric (the data layer), HG Copilots, HG Agents, and an HG MCP Server that lets your own AI tools query HG data. The platform "is priced on a consumption-based model built around Intelligence Credits." HG Copilot modules start at $22,000. That is the only number in the release.

If you buy technographic, spend, or intent data for a revenue team, this is now a credit contract. Here is what the meter does and what to write down.

Two meters

HG's pricing guide splits usage in two (HG Copilots Pricing Guide):

  • Intelligence Credits pay for exporting HG data out of the Copilots. Each data point has a price. A company record with firmographics and hierarchy costs 0.1 credit. A buyer intent data point costs 3 credits.
  • AI action credits pay for compute: running a research brief, enriching a CRM row, and other Copilot actions.

That rate card is the story. Pull 1,000 company records and you spend 100 credits. Pull 1,000 intent data points and you spend 3,000. Intent is the data agents want most for prioritization, and it costs 30× more per point. A team that turns on intent-driven agents can burn a year of credits on the expensive line.

Chart. Intelligence Credits for 1,000 records: firmographics plus hierarchy at 0.1 each equals 100 credits; buyer intent at 3 per data point equals 3,000 credits. Which meter burns: Copilot export uses Intelligence Credits; research brief and CRM row enrich use AI action credits; HG Agents, MCP queries from other AI tools, and Fabric by API or Direct Feed are not stated, ask the AE. Strip: max 20% of a month's unused credits roll over; two-year standard term, one year and quarterly billing cost more; seat bundles of 5, 10, 25, 50; no pilot or free trial.

What the pricing guide sets

  • Plans: Starter, Growth, and Enterprise, built on "seats licensed, credits consumed and leads processed." Growth adds credits, seats, lead volume, and premium intent signals. You can also buy single modules (pricing guide).
  • Volume pricing: credits "get cheaper to purchase as your plan scales." Top-ups sell at a "discounted bundle rate" (pricing guide). No per-credit dollar price is published.
  • Allocation and rollover: credits are allocated yearly and released monthly. A maximum of 20% of a month's released credits roll to the next month if unused (pricing guide). Light months lose the rest.
  • Seats: extra Sales Copilot and Market Analyzer seats come in bundles of 5, 10, 25, and 50. The 50-seat bundle is Growth only. Single seats cost a premium (pricing guide).
  • Term: two years is standard. One year costs more. Quarterly billing costs more (pricing guide).
  • Trial: "there is no pilot or free trial plan available" (pricing guide).

What nobody published

PPC Land read the release closely. It does not say whether $22,000 is annual or per user, how many credits it includes, or how queries, agent runs, or API calls consume credits (PPC Land). The pricing guide covers Copilot exports and Copilot actions. It is silent on HG Agents, the MCP server, and Fabric API calls. In a credit contract, those gaps set the bill.

Rollover math shows the risk. Say your plan releases 10,000 credits a month (illustrative). You use 6,000 in a slow month. Only 2,000 roll forward, which is 20% of 10,000. The other 2,000 are gone. Seasonal teams, new rollouts, and quarter-end spikes all hit this.

Order Form checklist

  1. Credits in the $22,000. Credit count included, annual or per seat, dollar price per credit, and the plan tier where the price per credit drops.
  2. Rate card attached. The full credits-per-data-point table (firmographics 0.1, intent 3, and every other type) as an exhibit, with written notice before any rate changes.
  3. Meter by surface. Name the pool for Copilot exports, AI actions, HG Agents and Superagent runs, MCP server queries from Claude, ChatGPT, or Copilot, and Fabric API or Direct Feed pulls. Ask whether a record pulled once can be pulled again free within the term.
  4. Rollover. The default is 20% of a month's unused credits. Ask for quarterly pooling, a higher cap during a ramp, and a clear rule for top-up credits.
  5. Term and billing. Get two-year, one-year, and quarterly billing prices side by side. Cap the renewal uplift.
  6. Seats. Bundle sizes (5, 10, 25, 50; 50 is Growth only), single-seat price, and the right to drop seats at renewal.
  7. AWS Marketplace. Which SKUs you buy there, and confirmation in writing that the private offer counts toward your AWS commitment. Agents are not in the listed set.
  8. No-trial exit. With no free pilot, write a paid pilot with a named outcome metric and a month-three exit. Set per-user and per-agent caps, a usage dashboard, and a kill path for MCP access.

Who reviews which line

  • RevOps and GTM engineering: meter by surface, MCP enablement, per-agent caps, kill path.
  • Marketing and ABM: intent volume. This is the 3-credit line.
  • Revenue Finance: credits per dollar, rollover, term and billing premiums, AWS commit treatment.
  • Sales leadership: seat bundles and who gets Sales Copilot.

Same pattern, other vendors

Soft opens

  • HG publishes no dollar price per credit. The $22,000 figure is a starting price for Copilot modules; terms behind it are unstated.
  • The 0.1 and 3 credit rates are HG's examples. The full table comes from your AE.
  • The 10,000-credit rollover example is illustrative. It is not an HG plan size.
  • The pricing guide covers HG Copilots. Agents, MCP server, and Fabric API metering are not stated publicly as of Oct 6 2026.
